There are many treatments for skin tag and mole removal. At eJoli clinic, we use a combination of YAG (yttrium aluminium garnet) and CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser therapy to remove skin tags and moles.
The YAG laser first shuts down the blood supply to the skin tag or mole, mitigating any damage to the surrounding tissue. The CO2 laser then produces a precise, high-energy beam to vaporise the skin tag.
While some mild heat or discomfort may be felt during the procedure, having skin tags or moles removed is mostly painless and involves no excisions. A small scab will form after treatment, healing to a tiny scar that is usually undetectable.
