Plasma IQ skin tightening is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation and regeneration treatment that enhances the firmness and tone of treated skin, reduces wrinkles, fine lines and loose skin, and improves the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
At eJoli clinic, we use the Neauvia Plasma IQ device to carry out the treatment. It works by discharging a small amount of plasma energy at a precisely targeted area of skin. This discharge causes sublimation (direct transformation from solid to gas) of the top layers of the skin and creates tiny thermal micro-injuries on the skin’s surface.
In response, the skin kicks off a natural wound-healing process and starts to naturally produce collagen and elastin, which are responsible for skin elasticity and firmness. Over time, the superficially damaged skin is replaced with new, healthy tissue, improving skin texture and reducing signs of ageing.
Plasma IQ skin tightening is primarily used to treat loose skin on the eyes and eyelids, and is commonly referred to as “non-surgical blepharoplasty”.
